To : 19 y.o Me

Dear the 19 years old me,

Three years ago, today. You were sitting at one class, having final exams. That day was your 16th birthday. Did you remember, there was only one person said 'Happy Birthday' to you? She wasn't your close friend. She was one of the most people you hate so much but she was sincerely said a birthday wish to you. Since then she always said all happiness wishes each year, on your birthday. Oh my dear, please.. please be nice to her.

There aren't many people who care about you. It doesn't mean there is no one who cares. But.. let's make some exceptions sometimes. If you think that people are too busy to listen to you, then let them be. There's only one person whom you could trust : yourself. I know it sounds odd and so damn selfish, so what? No one will love you better than yourself. Being a bitch sometimes.. it doesn't matter.

But don't forget these things :

It's ok not to have a boyfriend. Or a fancy date. Both are the same. It's ok if you don't get asked out and have a lovely day together with someone. It's ok if you don't have a beautiful dress, cool phone, or a fabulous shoes. You do need some excuses in your life.

Don't grow old so fast. Some stuffs are just too good to be left behind just because you think "aaahh it's not my age anymore!". You aren't too old for 'Row Row Row Your Boat' song either, you know?!

Stop looking at somebody else. You had rejected by the university last year, you were one of the top students at your class, you've been meeting great people. You have been going through your own ups and downs while other people have their own.

The world won't wait for you, stop procrastinating. Time chases you like there's no tomorrow. Get up and walk. Run if you can, crawl if you need to.

Tell your friends you love them. Sometimes they make you sick, make you happy, make you laugh, make you cry. They are your friends, after all. And be grateful too!

Dear, happy birthday! Welcome to the new age, it comes once in a lifetime. Say bye to me.
